Tell us your name and what you do.
My name is Aliyu. I’m a freelancer, video editor, and content creator. I work with different clients to bring creative ideas to life, whether it’s through video storytelling or producing engaging content for social media.
How and when did you first hear about cryptocurrency?
I discovered crypto back in 2020 while doing some personal research online. I’ve always been curious about digital innovation and money, and crypto caught my attention as something that could change the future.
What was the first crypto you ever bought, and how did you feel?
The first assets I ever bought were TRX and WAKANDA INU. TRX was smooth, but WAKANDA INU did me dirty; that was my first real loss in crypto. It was painful at the time, but also a serious learning moment. Since then, I’ve grown tougher and wiser in how I approach the market.
When did you start using Skye Wallet and what drew you to it?
I started using Skye Wallet around four months ago. What caught my attention was the simple interface; everything just feels smooth and user-friendly. The features are practical, especially for someone like me who’s always on the move.

Honestly, I’d say it’s the emotional rollercoaster. At some point, I felt like I lost my emotions completely. There were days I felt like I was in this journey all alone, with no support and no guide. But I had to learn how to manage those feelings and stay focused.
If someone is just getting started with crypto, what advice would you give them?
Be patient, stay dedicated, and remain consistent. This space can feel overwhelming at first, but if you take time to learn and grow your understanding, you’ll be fine. The key is to never stop learning.
What’s your favorite crypto asset right now, and why?
Right now, I’m all in on $ICE. I love the community behind it; they’re super active, and the team seems committed. When you find a project with solid backing, it gives you more confidence as a holder.
